StuMeTa 2025 – Meteorology Student Conference in Hamburg
From May 28 to June 1, 2025, this year's StuMeTa – Studentische Meteorologie Tagung (Student Meteorology Conference) – took place in Hamburg. Over 200 students of meteorology and atmospheric sciences from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland came together to network and exchange knowledge.

Millions in funding for climate research in CLICCS
The CLICCS Cluster of Excellence – “Climate, Climatic Change, and Society” at the University of Hamburg has been recognized for its forward-looking research project and will receive funding for another seven years. This was announced today by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Science Council (WR).
