Extreme weather and climate management: expert exchange and educational weeks
From September 24th to 27th, 2024, experts met for the 14th Extreme Weather Congress which was followed by the German Climate Management Conference at HafenCity University Hamburg. In addition to scientific exchange, another goal of the event is to inform the general public about the current state of science on the topics of extreme weather and climate change. In addition to numerous lectures and discussions, the DKRZ, as one of several exhibitors, presented its climate globe.

Today, on September 19, 2024, the Cluster of Excellence CLICCS at the University of Hamburg published the new study "Hamburg Climate Futures Outlook 2024". The CLICCS researchers analyze very different measures for adapting to climate change.
