Invitation to the “Open User Exchange”
DKRZ, together with the DKRZ user group, cordially invites its users to the next Open User Exchange meeting (formerly known as the “Schneesturm” meeting) – the first public agenda item of the upcoming user group meeting. The meeting will take place on May 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM in seminar room 034 at DKRZ in Hamburg.
DKRZ and partners present Hamburg climate research at EGU25
From April 28 to May 2, 2025, the German Climate Computing Center (DKRZ), the Earth System Modelling Project Office (ESMO) – a core project of the World Climate Research Programme located at the DKRZ, the Center for Earth System Research and Sustainability (CEN) and CLICCS - the Cluster of Excellence at the University of Hamburg will provide insights into Hamburg's climate and Earth system research at the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) in Vienna.
DKRZ Python Course Continues Its Success Story
For the eighth time, the DKRZ team co-jointly with the Group Scientific Computing, successfully held its popular Python course for geoscientists from March 31 to April 4, 2025.
Climate Science meets AI: Deep Learning Workshop
From March 19 to 21, 2025, the DKRZ in Hamburg once again hosted a workshop introducing deep learning with a focus on applications in climate science. The event was jointly organized by the “Machine Learning” group in the DKRZ department Data Analysis and the Helmholtz AI group at the Hereon Research Center.
