The goal of the project is to facilitate direct exchange between natESM’s RSEs and experienced North American/international partners in order to enable a mutual transfer of knowledge. Through structured peer learning, the project aims to lay the groundwork for model services that are sustainable and resilient in the long term. The learning and exchange activities focus on technical support for complex model configurations, sustainable maintenance and support practices, a clear delineation of roles among developers, RSEs, and users, as well as insights into component-specific support. In addition, the integration and maintenance of ML-based workflows will also be addressed, particularly with regard to the new RSE position in Phase 2.
