Areas of work

I work at the intersection of Earth system modelling, research infrastructure, and scientific collaboration. My work focuses on developing sustainable structures that enable scientists, research software engineers, and research institutions to collaborate successfully across institutional boundaries over the long term.

As Process Coordinator of the national Earth system modelling system natESM, I work together with research software engineers, scientists, and partner institutions to develop strategies and processes that strengthen long-term collaboration within the German Earth system modelling community. My responsibilities include the further development of the natESM sprint process, community-building activities, workshops, training and early-career support, as well as the establishment of sustainable support structures for the community.
