Within this project, the standards, applications and services as used within the SeaDataNet network will be reviewed and adapted to increased requirements. SeaDataNet is a pan-European research infrastructure of more than 100 oceanographic data centers from 34 countries.
In collaboration with 4 partners from the EUDAT consortium, DKRZ will create a unified framework that will enable the various SeaDataNet partners to access state-of-the-art IT infrastructures such as cloud technologies to provide improved services and applications to users. Several EUDAT services will be deployed and, if necessary, enhanced according to requirements. Among other things DKRZ co-jointly with the other EUDAT partners will focus, on the development of virtual work environments as well as the development and establishment of a flexible data publication workflow up to DataCite DOI data publication.
