The DKRZ supports the nationwide campaign initiated by renowned German publishers and media houses such as DIE ZEIT, Handelsblatt, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, WirtschaftsWoche, and Ströer, joining forces with 500 companies, foundations, and associations to make a clear statement against right-wing extremism and for freedom, diversity, and a culture of welcome.
As a specialized high-performance computing center, the DKRZ is a crucial partner for German climate and earth system research. Global challenges like climate change necessitate international partnerships and collaborations. At the DKRZ, more than a hundred employees from 15 nations contribute their expertise to provide the climate research community with an ideal and sustainable working environment, addressing technical challenges in high-performance computing.
