During this two-day hands-on tutorial course, more than 20 attendees learned how to use the NCAR Coomand Languagle NCL for the visualization of climate model results. NCL can be used for interactive data processing and visual exploration, but also allows to produce publication quality visualizations.
The tutorial course was carried out on November 28 and 29 by the KlimaCampus Climate Visualization Laboratory and NCAR: Karin Meier-Fleischer and Michael Böttinger (DKRZ), and Mary Haley (NCAR). The workshop was supported by IMPRS/MPI-M, DKRZ and SICCS/KlimaCampus.
