Note, the workshop will be held in German!
The workshop starts with a review of the annual RDA plenary meeting, which took place in Tokyo between February 29th and March 3rd. Afterwards, the attendees will work in two parallel training tracks on several topics of scientific data management like data repositories, persistent identifiers (PID), lifecycle, and workflow of data, respectively metadata.
Besides short introductions, the training focusses on practical examples and hands-on sessions, for example developing a test repository.
The workshop is principally addressed to data managers and data scientists dealing with the management of scientific data, and those who want to refresh their knowledge on the latest developments in the environment of RDA. Scientists and other interested fellows are also welcome!
The workshop is restricted to 50 attendees. Registration is mandatory; the workshop fee is 30 €.
