Retreatof the Hamburg Excellence Cluster CLICCS

Current research results on possible and plausible climate futures will be incorporated into the next “Hamburg Climate Futures Outlook” and will also form the basis for the intended continuation in the follow-up project CLICCS II.

Many projects in CLICCS, especially scientific ones, use the DKRZ's resources to work on their research topics. In addition, the DKRZ supports the cluster particularly in the areas of data management, software engineering and visualization. In data management, the consulting of project partners and creation of data management plans should be emphasized, and in software engineering, the GPU porting of the ICON ocean model.
