At their booth No. #18 in the entrance hall, DKRZ co-jointly with the Center for Earth System Research and Sustainability (CEN) and the Cluster of Excellence "Climate, Climatic Change, and Society" (CLICCS), will be presenting Hamburg's expertise in the field of climate and sustainability research.
DKRZ provides the necessary high-performance computer systems, data archives and management and the associated services for climate research. The Cluster of Excellence CLICCS is one of the core project of CEN and is funded as part of the Excellence Strategy of the federal and state governments. CLICCS conducts basic research on climate dynamics, climate-related social dynamics and transdisciplinary research on human-environment interactions.
The teams of DKRZ, CLICCS and CEN will participate in and contribute to the conference program with numerous talks, moderations and poster presentations.
