The DKRZ team will participate in the workshop program with several activities. Dr. Joachim Biercamp will chair the first session "European and International Landscape" on May 9.

On May 10, 2022, Dr. Claudia Frauen will report on experiences and future strategies to adapt the ICON model to these heterogeneous HPC systems in the session "Heterogeneous Architectures (Accelerators)".

In the session "Performance" on May 10, a team from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology and DKRZ will give the talk "The Potential of Functional Concurrency in W&C models", in which Dr. Julia Duras from DKRZ will participate.
