The two-page leaflet is only available in English and presents the data activities and services for the project HAPPI (Short for: Half a degree Additional warming, Prognosis and Projected Impacts).

The leaflet is available for download on the DKRZ website: www.dkrz.de/kommunikation/pub/dm-stories

The IPCC Special Report on 1.5°C global warming published in the autumn of 2018 clearly emphasized the urgency of climate protection, the climate impacts at 1.5°C warming compared to the pre-industrial level, and the differences to 2°C. The provision of regional and sector-specific analyzes of climate impacts at 1.5°C and 2°C was the key challenge for the Special Report. The international HAPPI research initiative and the BMBF-funded research consortium HAPPI-DE made a significant contribution to this.

The DKRZ participated in HAPPI with several experiments and was responsible for the long-time archiving of the data. The processed model data are publicly provided, like all HAPPI data, and can be used in climate impact models. The scientific publications were included in the SR1.5.
