Project Office ESMO

After being selected by the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP), DKRZ hosts the international project office (ESMO-IPO) of the WCRP core project "Earth System Modelling and Monitoring (ESMO)". In ESMO, all modelling, data assimilation and monitoring activities within the WCRP are coordinated. Under the leadership of the ESMO Scientific Steering Group and with support from the BMBF, the project secretariat will work closely with the WCRP and many renowned actors in climate research.
