The aim of NFDI4Earth is to further identify the requirements of digital transformation in the German Earth system sciences, establish a set of common principles, rules and standards for research data management in the Earth system sciences, create experimental prototype platforms working on distributed resources, and provide tools and mechanisms for data integration and analysis in a structured community consultation process.
As a co-applicant institution, DKRZ leads the task area 2Facilitate , which focuses on supporting Earth system researchers in the field of data management.
