The ENES-RISe project (ENES-RI SERVICES: Services of the European Network for Earth System Modelling Research) aims to provide and further develop key research infrastructure services for European Earth system modeling.
Within the project, the DKRZ is responsible for significant portions of the data infrastructure and user interfaces. As the operator of one of the four European ESGF core nodes (Tier 0), the DKRZ ensures the long-term availability and distribution of massive datasets. A key focus is on the development of “interfaces” that facilitate access to high-resolution climate data and enable their analysis in cloud environments.
