ClimXtreme2 aims to intensify the results achieved in ClimXtreme Phase 1 around climate and weather extremes, taking climate change into account. One focus will be the establishment of a task force that can react quickly to any events that occur with analyses and assessments.
DKRZ is responsible for the software development of the overall project (CoSoX) and provides a corresponding Freva platform with the ClimXtreme Central Evaluation System (XCES).
