EUDAT Collaborative Infrastructure

Dec 09, 2016

Together with 15 other European partners, the DKRZ has recently established the EUDAT Collaborative Infrastructure (EUDAT-CDI). The common goal of this partnership is to provide - independent of project funding - a long-term perspective for scientists and research networks for services and the management of research data.

In addition to the DKRZ, partners include both research-specific and generic data centers such as the CSC in Finland. The services offered are based on developments from the EU projects EUDAT and EUDAT2020. The DRKZ currently operates the generic metadata service B2FIND and is the lead developer of the service for persistent identifiers (PID).
