Christopher Kadow is recognized for his research and pioneering work in the use of machine learning methods in Earth system research. He and other outstanding scientists will be celebrated at the EGU General Assembly (April 3 to 8), 2022 in Vienna.

The “Division Outstanding Early Career Scientists Award” is one of 50 union medals and awards that the EGU presents each year. It is awarded by the EGU, the largest and most important association for geophysical sciences with more than 18,000 members, which has set itself the goal of promoting their subject and facilitating good exchange and networking.
