Analysis 6 hourly Model Level Data

Available Model Level Data at M&D

 

 

Please download the data from the CERA database (Experiment: ERA40_ML00_6H).

 

Experienced users can go directly to the relevant experiment.

 

All data is stored in grib format:

Parameters 133 (Q), 203 (O3), 246 (CLWC), 247 (CIWC), and 248 (CC) is stored as Gaussian N80 (160x320) grids in grib format, all other parameters (Z,T,W,VO,LNSP,D) as spherical harmonics (T159).

 

 

For the following upper air parameters full ERA40 analysis ("00 h forecast") data has been retrieved on model levels:

 

129 (1 level only), 130, 133, 135, 138, 152 (level 1 only), 155, 203, 246, 247, 248

 

For test purpose, parameters 131, 132 are available for the years 1958 and 2002.
