Atarrabi

Atarrabi (Basque: good weather spirit) is a web-based software system which provides the following (planned) functionalities:

• support of the data creator's SQA (scientific quality assurance) with offered standardized quality packages
• support of WDCC's publication agent in the cross- and double-checks of the TQA (technical quality assurance)
• register the persistent identifier (DOI, URN) and its landing page at WDCC via the DataCite publication service

The Atarrabi Publication System imports metadata of experiments or dataset groups stored in the WDCC's CERA2 database, using LDAP authentication (WDCC user accounts). In the current release, data creators' support is implemented. Support of the publication agent and the registration at DataCite are under development.
