From the Past into the Future: New Climate Simulations for Science and Society
Scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) and the German Climate Computing Centre (DKRZ) have carried out new climate simulations using MPI-M’s new climate model. First results of the simulations, which represent the German contribution to the next IPCC Assessment Report AR5, as well as an introduction on how to use the data will be presented on 23/24 February 2012 in Hamburg.
Extreme Weather Congress April 12-15, 2011: DKRZ exhibit
Using a virtual globe, DKRZ exhibits new visualizations during the Extreme Weather Congress 2011, which takes place from April 12 to April 15 in the main building of the University of Hamburg.
